Gaziantep–Şanlıurfa–Mardin State Highway is standing in the route of South TE-TEK Road which is connecting Anatolian Region, Mediterranean Region and Habur Border as a natural bridge. The Road of Şanlıurfa City Pass is counted in the Provincial Road Network of 9. Region Directorate. The present road in Şanlıurfa City Pass is 10.0 – 12.0 m wide. The final project of the route was created by implementing 26.0, 32.0 and 46.0 m-wide platform in urban area and 26.0 m-wide platform in rural area

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT 
The final project of the route was created by implementing 26.0, 32.0 and 46.0 m-wide platform 
(2 x 1 = 2 strips& 2 x 2 = 4 strips) in urban area and 26.0 m-wide platform (2 x 2 = 4 strips) in rural area including Stripped Topographical Maps, Final Project Engineering Geological Report, Small Engineering Works, Level and Elevated Intersections, Environmental Impact Assesment Report, Hydraulic & Hydrological Computations.

Characteristics of the Project

– Total Length of the Road : 37 Km
– In Rural Area : 30 Km (Platform Width: 26.00 m – 2 x 2 = 4 stripped)
– In Urban Area : 7 Km (Platform Width: 26, 32 and 46 m – 2 x 2 = 4 and 2 x 3 = 6 stripped)
– Project Speed : 100 km/h
– Topographic Map : 37 Km long, 300 m wide stripped map 
– Engineering Geology : 37 Km (35 # of Investigation Pit – 46 # of Drill)
– Small Engineering Works : 95 #
– Level Intersection : 11 #
– Elevated Intersection : 7 #
– Hydraulic & Hydrological Comp. : 37 Km 
– EIA Report : 37 km
